On Wednesday 16th October, 2024, it was a pleasure to take delivery of a marvellous bench in memory of John R Marcheselli (ORC, 56-59) who sadly passed away in July. John had been both President and Chairman of the OBA.
Present was his widow Beryl and a few friends and family.
The view that John always wanted.
Although the weather was not on our side we were able to listen to a dedication from School Chaplain Rev Rich Wootten.
Made by a good friend of John's - Chuck Venables - of Venables Oak it takes pride of place on the corner of the Quad and near where many OB's have scored important winning tries.
