Great to be back after two years of Covid imposed cancellations - and to have equal line-up numbers!!
Overall cloud and just a very gentle zephur, pleasantly mild – Mother Nature smiled on our day by gradually breaking out the sunshine to crown a lovely day.
A full turn-out, very welcome bacon baps and coffee, and a steady progression around this beautifully landscaped course, enhanced by such a wonderful panorama over the beacons, completed in a welcome clubhouse refreshment and general catching up with friends old and new! Good to welcome CCB Head Gareth Pearson to join us for a traditional golfers lunch, served and attended by courteous and obliging staff, much appreciated.
The results attached confirm a narrow victory for Brecon by four and a half to three and a half.
Running total to date Brecon 21; Llandovery 12; and three halves.
Many thanks to everyone for your great support, and particularly to Mike Muir for making all the arrangements.
