The Breconian 13.10 April 1934

MR. G. H. ISITT.

Old Breconians will be interested to hear that Mr. Isitt is just completing his 25th year as a member of the staff. He came to Christ College in May, 1909, and has been in charge of the Science Department ever since, and has done much else in many different ways to serve the interests of the School.

It has been thought that many Old Breconians, and especially those of his own House, would like to mark the occasion by some special form of presentation to Mr. Isitt, and we invite all who wish to subscribe to do so as soon as possible, and to send contributions to the Rev. A. E. Donaldson, The Hostel, Christ College, Brecon. Any sum, from 2/6 to £1, is suggested as suitable.

The occasion is especially appropriate inasmuch as Mr. Isitt, after Easter, is closing down his Boarding House, which has been open since 1921, though happily he is still remaining an active member of the staff.

From the Editorial

Orchard House, we regret to announce, after its thirteen years existence, will be no more a Boarding House after this term. The School will hardly seem the same place without it.

From Occasional Notes

Orchard House has been re-opened this term as a Junior House.

We would love to hear your stories and see your pictures from days gone by.
