The iconic Pavilion is a major feature of the Christ College landscape. Built in 1924, it is now in need of major works. The Governors have taken the decision to restore this historic building, but only when sufficient funds have been raised or pledged by donors to complete the work. The plans to create a modern centre of sporting excellence in a new pavilion are as ambitious as they are exciting.
You can see the impressive proposals in the video below. Drawn up by Rhodri Davies OB, the original design is retained with the addition of upgraded changing areas and social space, and a large extension at the rear that offers entertaining space for school teams, OBs, parents, and visitors.
If you are interested in supporting the redevelopment of a building that has served generations of Breconians, please consider donating to the Pavilion Fund.
