1st VII at the National Netball Finals
The 1st VII headed to Deeside last weekend to take part in the National Netball finals, The President’s Cup, hosted by Welsh Netball. Placed in a strong group, their opponents included Coleg Cambria, Gower College and Ysgol y Strade.
The team lost 2 matches and won 1, which saw them go into the 5th 6th playoff. Having significantly improved on their scores from earlier in the day, the girls narrowly lost to Gower College resulting in 6th place in the tournament.
A huge well done to Arwen, Lucy (joint captain), Katie, Poppy (joint captain), Floss, Libby, Julia and Charlotte who put on the most amazing performance, improving game by game.
