Ian Francis Davies: School House Blue, 1956 - 1962
Born 17th October 1943 - Died 12th June 2023
At school he played 1st XV rugby and after a brief stint in the army and having declined to take up a place at Sandhurst he emigrated to Australia at the age of 22 and had lived there ever since.
He married his Australian wife Molly in 1972. She was at his side when he died. Ian and Molly had a daughter and son who gave them three grandchildren two boys and a girl.
He had an older brother at CCB – Richard W Davies (SHB, 51-58) – and all our thoughts and condolences go out to him, Molly and the rest of the family.
